Creative Coaching
What is coaching? The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process inspiring them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching differs from mentoring because it is always client-focused and draws from the experience, goals and realities of the client. In contrast to counseling, coaching creates a professional partnership focusing on the client’s present and desired future.
As an artist and professor I am working within the creative disciplines since I was 18. Today I work with clients, groups and teams on research, ideation, goal-setting and strategic decisions to grow their careers especially in today’s shifting economic climates. Coaching is so effective because it is specific to each client or group - a space that identifies powerful, efficient and concrete steps towards each goal. Coaching improves outcomes, and it saves time and creates time where it is better needed.
